I am glad you felt the chill in it because that is exactly what I felt writing it. None of this is easy to look at, and writing it was its own kind of heaviness. The hardest part was admitting how familiar the pattern felt in my own body. When you have lived through a system’s cold math, you recognize it faster than you want to. I appreciate you taking the time to sit with it, and I am grateful you are willing to stay in the conversation instead of stepping back from it.
I am stunned by the clarity you have exposed. Yes, there are patterns that can be seen throughout history that simply erase people who are not accepted fully as humans. We have multiple examples in American history, but this is worldwide. Oh my God. May we somehow see the patterns. In the Bible, this would be the powers and principalities that contain evil. Perhaps we can begin to stop scapegoating people and see the wider picture so that we can be more effective in fighting the evil. Thank you so much for helping my heart break so that God can enter.
